Club Rides

Our rides are a sociable, supportive, non-competitive and enjoyable way to keep fit and make new friends. The pace of all rides is governed by those present and no-one will ever be left behind. Please make sure you have read our pre-ride requirements and Risk Assessment before joining any ride.

Tuesday rides

These are beginners/improvers rides of usually 10-20 miles, at a pace of around 8-10 mph, and designed to encourage less experienced riders. Rides start from Hopwood at 11.30am, returning approximately 3.30pm and include a lunch/refreshment stop. All welcome.

Wednesday rides

These are longer rides for more experienced riders, of approximately 35-55 miles at a pace of around 10-13 mph. Rides start from Hopwood at 9.30am, returning around 4pm and include a lunch stop. There are sometimes alternative start points to accommodate those preferring a shorter ride.

Sunday rides

Rides of different distances, speeds and start times are usually available. Please contact us for details.

Other rides

From time to time there are opportunities to be involved in longer challenge rides, cycle touring, fun rides and even cycling holidays.
